‘Fathers and Daughters’ movie review; This movie is about the love between a father and his little ‘potato chip’.
When he faces a life without his wife, Jake (writer) is left with the care for his daughter. How will he cope? With his health affected by the accident and no money in his pocket?
He decides that the answer is to write a new book, about the love of his life: his daughter.
But what about her? How will she be as a grown up? Having to have lost, everyone that ever meant something to her. Will she be able to love again?
ChickFlick Database favorite ‘Fathers and Daughters’ moment: When he teaches his daughter how to ride a bike.. a pink one 🙂
ChickFlick Database favorite ‘Fathers and Daughters’ quote: minute 1.23.20
- ‘You should find some uncomplicated girl to love and stop wasting your time one me’
- ‘No, I like wasting my time on you’
What did you think of ‘Fathers and Daughters’? to me the story of the dad with his little girl was really lovely. And I understand the storyline of the grown up daughter. But it didn’t feel very believable as her role was a lot less.. layered?.. then the one from her dad and boyfriend.
